About Myself

I am a Multimedia designer. I have lived most of my life in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E where the weather is always hot and the sun is always bright. I have also briefly lived in the USA and then in Canada where I further explored my passion for design. I have met so many diverse and intellectual people over the years whether it was at university or at work. Being exposed to such diversity allowed me to be more creative and have a more comprehensive perspective about the world around me. I enjoy being outdoors, and my hobbies include swimming, martial arts, and photography. I love taking my camera and visiting new places to capture all my experiences. Design has always been an important part of me. I am always on the look out for inspiration all around me, that is why you will find me with my camera at all times.

Experience

I have been a freelancer since 2008. I had the opportunity to work on various projects were I have learned to work individually and in a team environment. My most recent project completed in Jan 2015, was for Studio 360 in Dubai where I created a new website for the clients that would showcase their photography and videography work. Using many social media platforms to enhance SEO to the website was very crucial in this project because the clients wanted to have many options in communicating with present and future clients. Moreover, other projects I worked on were a poster for Hand in Hand for Syria in the UK and an animation for the Université de Montréal at la Faculté de l’éducation permanente (Faculty of continuing education) where I worked and collaborated with the marketing and communication team as well as producing a short animation for the l’École de langues (Language School).
